Thoughts on Office 365

Microsoft recently announced their real foray into Cloud Computing with their Office 365 product. The basics of this product is that users will now be able to access email and documents across the web via a web browser in a manner similar to Google Docs except Office 365 is designed to be familiar to those users of Office 2010. In the tech world, there is a buzz about Cloud computing. Even the US State Department is considering Cloud computing and has Cloud deployment included in their current strategic plan. Put simply, Cloud computing is essentially storing your company’s data in “the Cloud” versus storing it on a server or computer.
